Original Sidera material
Original Sidera code, documentation, Parallax artwork and its four named icon derivatives are MIT licensed, copyright (c) 2026 Calf. Read the standard LICENSE. Eureka directly authored the Parallax geometry; the UI derivatives are original Sidera artwork in Solar-like styles, not upstream Solar icons. No trademark clearance or endorsement is asserted.
Upstream material keeps its terms

Sidera is independently implemented for Hugo, inspired by Hexo Stellar 1.44.0 by xaoxuu. Adapted styles/interactions retain Stellar’s MIT notice. It is not an official port and does not promise configuration or feature parity.
- Solar UI artwork: 480 Design; maintained extensions by Hakim Saoudi; CC BY 4.0. Per-key source/style/revision/hash provenance stays in the registry metadata.
- React Bits-derived card spotlight: retained upstream MIT notice.
- KaTeX 0.18.4 CSS/fonts: retained MIT notice and unmodified bundled assets matching the verified Hugo renderer. No ordinary UI font download is implied.
- Mermaid 11.17.2: retained MIT and bundled dependency notices.
- drawio viewer 31.5.2: retained Apache-2.0 and embedded dependency notices, including the applicable DOMPurify, pako and Lodash license files.
The complete third-party notices
remain at repository root. Generated pages publish native local links with
rel=license to those notices and the original-material MIT text; conditional math/
diagram assets also publish their own licenses. Keep notices when redistributing.
Original MIT terms do not relicense imported artwork or vendor code.
Your site remains yours
A consuming site’s articles, photographs, brand/trademarks, scaffold files and third-party embeds retain their own rights. Set a truthful content license notice rather than assuming the theme’s software license applies. You remain responsible for provider permissions and artwork/font rights you add.
